Enterprise 2.0 is a marketing term used to sell a re-branding of ideas that have been around for many years. Enterprise 2.0 represents a convergence of multiple technologies and disciplines.To implement Enterprise 2.0 you needs to start with an understanding of people, processes, and their use of materials and information in your company’s pursuits of acquiring and fulfilling business transactions.

There seems to be somewhat of a shock wave going around the web, due to the startling revelation that 68% of small businesses have no plans to adopt “Enterprise 2.0″ initiatives.

Thanks for the interesting post indeed. The main problem is that small business owners just don't understand the term Enterprise 2.0. By the way, did you know that some of the Enterprise 2.0 services providers have their own blogs trying to adapt the new technology concepts for the consumers? Here's one of them, for example.
